Day 1: Casablanca airport

Your Morocco private guided tour begins here at Casablanca airport; greeting and immediate transfer to your accommodation by your private car, with professional local driver. First night of the trip at a hotel located in Casablanca downtown.

Day 2: Casablanca-Rabat-Meknes-Volubilis-Fès

You will first visit the third largest Mosque in the world “Hassan II mosque“, then head out to “Rabat” the current capital of the kingdom and seat of the government.

The must-sees at Rabat are the “Oudayas Kasbah” with its mighty honey-colored ramparts and watchtowers dominating the skyline; “Hassan Tower” the unfinished Mosque and Minaret of the 12th-century Sultan Yacoub Al Mansour; and the brilliant-white “Mausoleums” of Mohamed V and Hassan II.

Afterwards you will leave to “Meknes“, home to extravagant palaces, terraced parks; and decorated Mosques that overlook the surrounding countryside. 40 km farther is “VOLUBILIS” one of the best preserved and extensive Roman sites in the world, and the most archaeological site in Morocco.

Day 3: Fes-Full Guided city tour

The whole day will be dedicated to the visit of Fes, with your local guide. You will discover one of the best king’s Palaces; Jewish quarter; a stunning panoramic view overlooking the entire medina; and visit one the famous workshops where traditional pottery are being made here in Fes since ancient times.

The most exciting part of the day would be, your twisting stroll through “Fes Medina” the historical world’s largest car-free urban space, as well as UNESCO heritage. back to your hotel by late afternoon.

Day 4: Fes to Merzouga

The winding road up the Mountain leads you to “Errachidia“, the town blessed with astonished palm grove Oasis, bordered with countless villages along the way to “Erfoud“.

Day 5: Merzouga to Dades gorges

Wake up early in the morning; witness the wonderful sunrise; have your breakfast then get on camels and ride back to the hotel. After you leave the desert behind, you will discover the dramatic “Todra valley” and the Moroccan Grand Canyon “Todra Gorges” with its two gigantic mountain walls reaching 300 m in places. The area offers great opportunity for good walk and lovely photos.

You may have lunch in one of the local restaurants stretching along the river; after while travel for another two hours to Boumalne Dades; overnight at one of the hotels sitting against the mountain hillside.

Day 6: Dades valley to Marrakech

Visit the amazingly dramatic “Dades Gorges“; drive through the route of “one thousand kasbah“; and crossing Roses and Skoura valley to “Ouarzazate“, the city famed as Hollywood of Africa.

30 km away from Ouarzazate is the village “Ait Ben Haddou“, one of the oldest and finest examples of a fortified city in the world; founded in the 11th century; declared a world heritage in 1987 by UNESCO.
The ksar is standing dramatically on a steep hillside; so you need to do some challenging and go for a hike to reach the upper level with sweeping views overlooking the Ounila valley. Your visit to Morocco would not be complete if you hadn’t seen this proverbial site worldwide.

Through the High Atlas Mountains, followed by one or two stops to admire the beautiful views overlooking the snow mountain peaks; you will finally reach Marrakech to overnight.

Day 7: Marrakech-Full guided city tour

With the help of a local guide, you will discover “Marrakech” one of the fourth Morocco imperial cities. Your visit starts around the 900 hundred years old “Koutoubia Mosque“; “Saadian tombs” and “Bahia Palace” which was built at the end of the 19th century. This last wasn’t built for the royal family, but as a residence for the leading Vizer of the city; “Abou Ahmed Ibn Moussa”; as well as for his four wives; dozens of concubines, and various children. A short distance further, it’s the unstoppable human congestion in the medina; follow your guide through its huge maze of souks; explore its breathtaking imperial architecture, and absorbing the atmosphere at djemaa el Fna, one of the world’s largest and busiest squares.

End your Marrakech city tour by visiting the Majorelle Gardens (optional visit); then back to your hotel.

Day 8: Marrakech to Essaouira

Before you head out to your next destination, you might like to enjoy more time in Marrakech if required. Only 3 hours drive to the beautiful Portuguese town “Essaouira“.

As you approach the city “Ounagha“, you’ll be greeted by the sight of trees filled with strange dark shapes. The dark shapes you’ll soon realize, are goats-they perch implausibly on the highest and most delicate-looking branches to get at the fruit of the Argan trees.
This oddity represents the first stage in a process that powers the economy of the region. After they pass through the goats, the fruits are reduced to a hard, indigestible core. This hard nut is taken cracked; crushed; and roasted to extract Argan oil, which can be used for everything from cooking to beauty treatments.
There are numerous cooperatives along the way, where dozens of women work to produce oils that are sold throughout Morocco and beyond.

Day 9: Essaouira-Guided city tour

After breakfast, meet your guide around 10:00 am, and start your walking journey within the city. You will mingle with the locals and explore the maze of souks; handicraft complex for making wooden furniture, and the silver jewelry complex. Then walk up onto one of the terraces; and witness the beautiful views overlooking the ocean. When you feel you had enough enjoyment inside the old town; you may finally conclude your visit by a delicious varied fish dish, in one of the neighboring restaurants.

Day 10: Essaouira to El Jadida

You will depart from Essaouira, and heading North, driving along the Atlantic Ocean to “Safi“, the main fishing port for the country’s sardine industry; it also exports phosphates; textiles and ceramics. Next is “Oualidia” the city known for its fabulous beaches, coves of crystal-blue waters, world-famous bird habitats, and most important, renowned oyster farms. You might be interested in tasting some delicious oysters, in one of the restaurants overlooking the ocean.

Afterwards, continue your travel to “El Jadida” for overnight. If time allows, possibly on walk and visit its world heritage site, famous for its old ramparts and bastions and its role in evicting the occupying Portuguese in 1769, then known as Mazagan.
