Day 1: Marrakech airport

Day 2: Marrakech-Full guided city tour

Your visit will begin by seeing the koutoubia mosque; visiting the Saadian tombs and Bahia palace; then exploring the heart of the medina including its huge maze of souks; breathtaking imperial architecture and absorbing the atmosphere at djemaa el Fna (one of the world’s largest and busiest squares in the world).

End your Marrakech city tour by visiting the Majorelle Gardens (optional visit); then back to your hotel around 3:00 pm.

Day 3: Marrakech to Ouzoud waterfalls

From your hotel; we will drive East (150 km) to the picturesque village of Ouzoud; through the city of El Attaouia: which is very famous for olive oil. Getting to Ouzoud Waterfalls; a series of spectacular stunts that have become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the region. It includes three levels of rock where water falls from a height of about (110 m) in a lake; sending a fine spray that fills the air and creates a rainbow effect almost permanent.

Here you will meet your guide which is going to lead you on a walk to explore this place. It’s possible to have more time if you wanted a swim. Surely there are restaurants where you can enjoy Moroccan cuisine (tagine, couscous, etc…); overnight in a hotel.

Day 4: Ouzoud(waterfalls) to Fès

8:00 am, we will leave Ouzoud and heading towards the city of Fès, through the Middle Atlas Mountains, passing by the city of Beni Mellal and Khenifra. The landscape is truly unique; beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains with its green plains; large fields of olives trees.

We will continue our drive; and crossing the city of Azrou; then pass through the city of Ifrane. Late afternoon we get to Fes; overnight in a hotel or riad.

Day 5: Fes-Full guided city tour

After breakfast, you will meet your guide who will give you a short briefing. Your visit will start by exploring the outside of the medina.
The first thing, must be the fascinating panoramic view overlooking Fe’s old town (Fès el Bali); then you will see the brilliant cobalt-blue pottery that has been made in Fès since the 11th century. Craftsmen still making it by hand in workshops; turning pots on a traditional potter’s wheel as has been the practice for centuries.
As you enjoyed you time around the city; your guide will lead you on a walk and dive into the medina in order to discover its hidden secrets.

At the end of your guided visit; your driver may take you to the new city (Fès jdid), where big Hotels; chic Restaurants; big Supermarkets and Boutiques are sit. End of the day, return to your Hotel.

Day 6: Fès to Merzouga

Today, we will drive south to the dunes of Merzouga; through the city of Ifrane: which is well known for regular heavy snowfall during winter months. It often called: the Moroccan Switzerland. From here, up to the mountains while crossing Azrou’s huge forest which lies in the Middle Atlas Mountains; known as home for wild monkeys (Macaques). Getting to Midelt (Apple town) where we pause and lunch.

Next city is Errachidia where you will be greeted by an impressive oasis (ziz valley). This fascinating landscape will lead us until we reach the city of Erfoud (known for the date’s harvest; held annually in October: the time for great activity in Erfoud). Arrival at the dunes; where your adventure begins on a camel; through the golden sand dunes, and watching a memorable sunset before arriving at the camp. Your diner will be served to you under starry sky, enjoying the silence of the desert; relaxing; stargazing while the local nomads are playing on their drums. Overnight under nomadic tent; dinner and breakfast including.

⇒Note:
One more day is highly recommended for relax; enjoying much time by driving around the sand dunes; seeing the nomads living this area. Don’t miss this opportunity while the nomads inviting you for a cup of tea. An other thing that you should not miss is; to visit the Berber musicians playing a kind of African music(Gnawa, also called the pigeons of the desert). Depending the rain season; you might see the pink flamingo’s birds in a huge natural lake; around the village of Merzouga. We will have Lunch in one of the Berber family’s house (home-stay); and then go to the hotel for a second night.

Day 7: Merzouga to Dadès valley

An early wake up is highly recommended; in order to welcome the first sun rays; have breakfast; and then get on the camel and ride back to the hotel.

Meet your driver, and get ready for your next adventure to the Dades gorges. Arriving to the city of Tinghir where An astonishing oasis following with huge number of berber villages; will lead us to the Todra gorges. visit and take some photos; while exploring the area with these incredible mountains; with sheer rock faces reaching 300 meters high in places.

We will have lunch where time allows it; then continue for getting to the Boumalne Dades; through the Dades valley which leads us to the gorges (visit); and overnight in the Hotel or Riad.

Day 8: Dadès valley to Marrakech

After breakfast, from her we will be driving along the road (called road of a thousand Kasbahs); crossing Kelaa M’gouna(where Morocco’s most celebrated Roses used for making rosewater; which take place every May each year. Afterwards, we continue our way to Skoura valley for reaching Ouarzazate: known as the movie’s city. We pause here for a break; have lunch and exploring the area by visiting the oldest building dating from the 18th century (Kasbah Taourirt).

Afternoon, drive North West via Ait benhaddou: one of the oldest and finest examples of a fortified city in the world. Founded in the 11th century; declared a world heritage in 1987 by UNESCO. It attracts thousands of visitors and large of filmmakers. You might go on a hike by foot through the village until you reach the upper level overlooking the Ounila valley. Late afternoon we drive straight to Marrakech; through the high Atlas Mountains (highest pass of Tichka: 2260 m above the sea level); overnight in the hotel or riad.

Day 9: Transfer to Marrakech Airport

Transfer from your hotel to Menara Marrakech airport, depending on the time of your flight
